MALI (AVRIL 2016)
All praises to Allah and peace and blessings on his Prophet.
19 days in Mali after 6 years of absence is really short. But these days were particularly intensive in visits, talks, conferences, radio and TV shows. Since the last campaign in 2010, a center was established and struggled to survive. The small success of this center and of the previous campaign is what put me off coming back for all this period, but now the situation has changed. Those who planned and organized my coming are senior members of daawa and tableegh and they want a center with my method and my tariffs, ten times less than the other centers. So we immediately visited the authorities and many VIPs and that gave us opportunities for many strategic catchings. We continued the systematic catching in mosques, radios and even national TV. We had more than 40 very motivated students, many of them already working in other centers. In addition to dawa brothers, we had the support of Cifod, an organization that teaches Arabic and Quran to educated adults, and Lieema, the association of schoolboys and students, and other organizations that teach women or organize Mali foreign students. The result was an impressive movement of intellectuals and high ranked by Allah’s Grace, and even though maraboos (amils) and corruption remain dominant and paralyzing, there are more and more voices and efforts against it. After my short stay, I am leaving my team that spent nearly 5 months with me: now it’s their job to prove they can represent me.
Nous avons encore pris une semaine sur ces 19 jours pour que je visite d’autres villes : Kayes, Sikasso et Ségou pour lancer les campagnes et laisser des équipes poursuivre ; qu’Allah fasse que ces efforts soient uniquement pour Sa satisfaction et qu’Il en fasse des victoires pour l’Islam.
In the catching I was surprised by the number of djinns that claimed they already have accomplished their mission: divide the Muslims so they kill each other, and in this short stay we had many good news for peace and stability in the country, may Allah preserve Muslims from wars, killings, conflicts and division.
We have taken 5 days off these 19 days to visit other cities: Kayes and Segou to launch the campaigns and let my teams continue; may Allah make these efforts exclusively for His satisfaction and may they be victories for Islam.
