FRANCE - BELGIUM - ENGLAND (FEBRUARY - MAY 2015)

All praises to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon his Prophet.

This campaign was by Allah’s mercy a step forward for ruqya. For the cases of possession that do not end we saw the efficiency of the method: catching - cupping - reading with pressure on the patient and psychotherapy until the possession ends or the person becomes catcher. I will cite two examples. There was a young man brought by his family and his djinn kept making fun of us. He talked to us with a perfect calm and said: go ahead, recite what you can; that’s all? You got something else? I saw true imams, much stronger than you, in Mecca, and you don't reach their ankle, Come on, continue making a fool of yourself, etc. We captured plenty of djinns, but this one seemed inaccessible. Towards the end of the day, the catcher got he was in his tummy and crushed his belly with his knee, and the patient began to howl that he will kill him; so we asked the test question: say kalima Shahadah and he refused. He continued the pressure until he said Shahada and this famous djinn converted. We made sure he had light and was really converted then made him leave and the patient go. Unfortunately in the night the family informed us that he was in a very serious crisis and they brought him back next day. The djinn had left Islam and said that we converted him by force. But this time he agreed to negotiate and I discussed and discussed to solve his problems until he converted and we brought through the patient all the other djinns related to him; thus ended the second day. He returned the third day as the djinn had again left Islam and said that he changed his mind and would not leave the victim. This time he had lost much of his prestige and we attacked him and cut him until we killed him by the grace of Allah, but it was not easy. After him there were armies and armies of the djinns of sorcerers and demons who did not want to let go the patient, but except a few who resisted until they died, all of them converted and returned to combat those wizards. This is the illustration of the combined work of djinn catching, reading, cupping, psychotherapy looped up to resolve the situation by the grace of Allah.

A second example was the last day’s patient. She arrived early in the morning from 600 km and fell into crisis before entering the center and we had to drug her in. We read and hit on her body more than an hour with almost no results because the catcher had not arrived. The djinn said only a few words: you will not have me or: it is your fault to her husband, then the djinn was just mocking. Her father seeing the situation stuk phoned the previous raqi so he can explain the case to me: the case is hard, the djinn is stubborn, he never speaks, you should read for hours and hours... Then the catcher arrived. He began to pull out the djinn by groups and kill the majority because they were very stubborn. Then they begun screaming: it is your fault! to her husband. Finally they said that a witch sent them to separate them and they were terribly afraid of her. Hours passed and we were catching and hitting (slightly) on the patient and despite all those we removed the others we still mocking. We were all shocked by these masses of djinn that the witch had sent on her; undoubtedly, without the catching technique, it would have been weeks of intensive reading to reach a change; and without cupping and psychotherapy I don’t believe she could ever heal. Sometimes she would plunge into an unconscious and we need to frighten the djinns by the sorcerer so they show up again and we continue working on them. In the afternoon, she recovered her consciousness and we did the psychotherapy on her. Then we dragged her to the cupping room. Alhamdu lillah, at the end of the day she stood on her legs and left with a smile.

Some are surprised that catching is not sufficient to cure a possessed person. The fact is that the world of the djinns is energy and the djinn very stuck to the personality of the patient can be inaccessible to the catcher; we must therefore 'detach' him or 'bring him to surface' or 'weaken' him by reading, cupping and psychotherapy until the catcher can catch him or the patient is able to catch him himself. By the grace of Allah almost all of these cases were solved and we had many djinns who defied us: they said they have been everywhere, they have seen imams much stronger than us and everything we do against them just makes them laugh. May Allah help us to find strength and healing in His words and to prove His supremacy to His enemies. The caravan has the advantage that the brothers can take turns on the same patient as long as they can stay with us.

Other big news: the adoption of the Charter and the new world Organization. Any raqi wishing to join our group must join the Charter; every country has an emir helped by a technician who ensures the rectitude of the method and a mediator to handle disagreements. The amplification of our movement requires rules that transcend my person.

Finally this campaign allowed to establish a diagnosis of the situation in these 3 countries. First there is no longer the exuberant affluence we have known at a time because we decided to reduce the number of appointments in order to devote more time to each person, and because after the first rushes the ruqya movement is running out of steam, also because there was almost no communication in mosques and elsewhere, so the only channel to inform people is the website and personal communication; finally because my books are no longer on sale so one of the sources of communication is cut off for the moment. We were fearing the effect of the terrorist attacks in France on the campaign and the general mood in France but we didn’t see anything of that by the grace of Allah. It has become almost impossible to preach ruqya in mosques: mosques’ officials fear the problems and avoid any controversial topic; others don’t believe in possession and prefer to direct people to psychiatrists. I was invited to a meeting of imams in Brussels: it was a rain of criticism: simply telling a person he has witchcraft for them is unjustifiable and a claim to know the hidden - ghayb - which belongs only to Allah; the use of verses to destroy any witchcraft or convert the djinn is for them a new use and therefore inappropriate of the Quran; say: “mental problems due to the trauma that the person has experienced strengthen the djinn and witchcraft” is equal to pressing the button: “How can you know that?” They have a long list of the most outrageous stories on raqis’ practices. Unanimously they join Saudi scholars to condemn the ruqya development: it must be limited to some soorats we recommended the patient to read on himself. They claim to be close to the people, constantly on the ground and listening to the population, therefore well aware of the evils of the ruqya and the real needs of Muslims. Well I hope we can offer a service that will change the image our imams and scholars have about ruqya and raqis. In the meantime we are frustrated for all the people who are suffering, who are looking for solutions for years, who often fall into shirk, who often get abused, and who have not been informed of our passage, especially in Marseille, city of problems, where we spent 6 days without much to do.

As for catching, we have by the grace of Allah more and more catchers due to the resolution of heavy cases of possession. There is also a beautiful meeting that I had with three raqis from Toulouse to investigate by themselves about our methods and not listen to what people say. Concerning catching, the only question that an objective person can arise is the impact on the catcher and by the grace of Allah I care enough about my catchers and raqis to worry about their condition. Those who do not bear the catching appear immediately when we try to train them so we just treat them and clean their environment and let them leave. They observed the catching and asked their questions and saw that there is nothing that looks like shirk in this method. I explained psychotherapy to them and did it on one of them and he cried and then saw his djinn and killed him. Alhamdu lillah, the discussion is so simple and profitable when it comes without preset ideas and with an open mind.

So, in France the objectives are to cover the territory, multiply the catchers and to strengthen links with the imams, Islamic libraries and responsible of associations to make us know and better reach populations.

In Belgium the situation is also blocked by the absence of a center, but on the other hand, there are more and more students who got a good understanding and practice of the ruqya. We didn’t get any place to receive the caravan in Holland so we received a large number of patients from Netherlands in Belgium, as well as from Germany in Belgium and Mulhouse.

England is another world. First it is even more difficult to have a center here since the laws are stricter – although cupping is legal - but the people and the authorities consider laws as sacred and it is not easy to just start first then gradually comply with the legislation. Finding a place to receive the group was not easy at all, but by the grace of Allah, we stayed in London at a Somali mosque, and then in Huddersfield near Leeds and Bradfrod, then a flash campaign in Glasgow, Scotland and finally Birmingham, one of the largest cities in England before returning to London. Due to the absence of centre in England, we could not consider appointing an emir and a team because everyone still struggles for his own survival and we do not see what strategy they might develop together. In England the difficult access to mosques is almost total: a majority does not accept that we prohibit talismans as their sheikhs or imams do them, some mosques are against the djinn catching and others don't want controversy. Therefore the program is to establish centers and strengthen contacts with religious leaders so that they understand the ruqya. During the previous campaign, 5 raqis had campaigned against us and all have had big problems: I ask Allah to enlighten those who misunderstand and punish those who accuse us and attack us unfairly because they commit many sins and harm to Islam and Muslims.

By the grace of Allah the campaign in England ended on positive notes: back in London, a brother proposed a program on Iqra TV (nothing to do with Iqra of Saudi Arabia) and I did a 1 h 30 program with a scholar as presenter. He already knew me for having preached in his mosque and supported us. In the beginning the question was to justify the catching 1but I made him understand that as the majority of viewers know nothing about ruqya it would be better to do a basic educational program for the mass and then talk about catching. At the end of the show the producers were so pleased, they asked me to give all the time it takes to talk about everything concerning the ruqya and tell viewers everything I have to say to them. So they came to the Center to film me and we recorded 7 sessions of 22 minutes. The next day we did another 7 sessions of 22 minutes on the spiritual program. We would have continued but the days were finished. During these same days, three patients became catchers and I saw students catching with the new catchers in all corners, alhamdu lillah that returned the situation. There also happened a problem in Somali mosque hosting the campaign. A telephone campaign took place against us saying we were Satanists who request assistance from djinns, to the point that one of them took the microphone after the prayer to "denounce us". The committee was angry by his insolence towards the rules and responsible of the mosque and this was the cause to discuss it with the imams who found nothing wrong about the djinn catching.

Finally the last three days in Paris allowed me to see two long term patients become catchers and a very affected patient recover, in addition to a competent and motivated team and brave new students, may Allah accept us and use us for the good of Islam and Muslims.

Among the benefits of this campaign, we were able to assemble €17,000 for the construction of the centre in Conakry. We believe that the future of the ruqya will be through centers belonging to us and built and designed to be ruqya centers, including a boarding part for patients who need or who come from far away and for students. Guinea is our best organized country in the ruqya and they have the status of medical NGO in partnership with the Ministry of Health. In addition, they want to establish a medical center and an Islamic radio in the ruqya center. It is the most promising project that we have chosen to finance first, after my center in Tunisia. The amount of the project is €200,000 and over the past year we have assembled €2000. Therefore this new intake will relaunch this project in cha Allah and I take this opportunity to remind and remotivate all those who can contribute.
