SOUTH AFRICA - MARCH 2014 (ABDELAZIZ ET MOHAMMED)

This South African campaign was smaller than the past December one. The organizers preferred to concentrate on follow-up of the first campaign’s patients, on information and training of religious responsibles. So the campaign was very limited but Alhamdu lillah Allah gave us great spiritual moments all along this campaign that also had the sign of acceptance: the difficulties. May Allah accept us and use us for the good.

1) The difficulties

a) The premises

The first problem we met was that we had to do the roqya in a place used by a cupping professional; it is a very small place with one room for treatment and a waiting room. So we had little place for diagnostics and catching but only one room for reading Quran on patients. So we had to wait to put cupping on 3 women or 3 men, then read, then remove the cups to enter the next patients and put cups and read, so we lost a lot of time and that left the patients waiting for long.

Alhamdu lillah we only had this problem in Johannesburg, and in Durban Allah eased us a large empty house just for ruqya for the campaign period.

b) Difficult collaboration with the cupping professionals

To counter the cupping difficulties in the last campaign (see previous report), the organizers decided that Hijama will only be done by professionals in the whole campaign. We had no objection as long as the hijama would be done our way. In order to remove the sorceries in one’s body it is necessary to put the cup precisely where the patient feels pain or where there is a medical problem or a none functioning. But we had a problem with the professionals: they refuse to put the cups where we tell them.

For example, they don’t want to do cupping on ovaries (very important for pregnancy problems), because they don’t put cups on the front of the body, and there are precise points in the back related to the front of the body, which we cannot accept because we know that the hijama combined with Quran reading extracts the sorcery that stops pregnancy.

So we quickly realized that many cups we prescribed during diagnostic were not done and other cups were to no avail.

So after this experience and previous ones we conclude that it is really difficult to collaborate with hijama professionals and we encourage al raqis to follow training and get diploma in order to be independent.

c) No new student

One of the main objectives of the campaign is to train raqis who will continue treating after our departure. Unfortunately we didn’t have any student during this campaign. That was very difficult because we were 2 raqis doing everything by 35°C: diagnostic, cupping, reading, catching… Alhamdu lillah yet we managed to receive everybody for treatment with reasonable delays.

2) The spiritual profit

The positive point in difficulties is the spiritual profit and the facilities that follow. Because of the little number of patients and students, we had more time left for reading Quran, prayers, dhikr, and also home catching, catching in the city etc. All that made us go through high spiritual moments at many levels.

a) Particular catchings

- One of our raqis in SA asked us to catch for one of his patients because in the middle of the night the sorcerer (called « sanghoma» in local language) in charge to throw spells on her phoned her and threatened her. He said: «Look through the window at your horse, next time it will be you if you don’t stop what you are doing to counter my work» and she was shocked when she looked through the window to see her horse dead.

Alhamdu lillah, by the Mercy of Allah we did the catching for her without her knowing and after three days she saw herself in dream with a great hammer with the name of Allah written on it with giant white letters, she took the hammer and smashed the sorcerer in her dream. May Allah smash him and return his evil on him and his clients.

This catching led to a great lesson from the djinns. After reverting to Islam the djinns were very angry against the sorcerer and decided to enlarge the catching to the whole f Soweto (greatest ghetto in South Africa full of sanghomas). Alhamdu lillah, the djinns destroyed a lot of sorceries and sorcerers in the spiritual word and told us that while we Muslims were busy quarrelling and dividing and fighting each other for fragments of this material life, sorcerers spent their nights praying and calling the devil and their days inventing new and stronger sorceries.

After reverting to Islam, the djinns said that in the beginning they didn’t want to become Muslim. We asked why and they said: «Look at you! Look at you Mohammed! Muslims are divided, Muslims fight, kill each other, why become Muslim? Beware! Beware! Allah is angry, Allah is in a great anger and it is as the Mercy of Allah has disappeared!»

I said: no, the Mercy of Allah is always here and I read the verse:

Wa ma arsalnaka illa rahmatan lil 3alameen (We have sent you out of mercy from us towards the whole world) (soorat 21 verse 107)

and the djinns let me finish the verse and replied:

« Inna rahmatallahi qareebun mina-l-muhsineen (Surely, GOD's mercy is attainable by (close to) the righteous), it’s not Allah’s Mercy that disappeared but the muhsineen (righteous)» (soorat 7 verse 56).

This lesson let me think all night long, may Allah make us muhsineen.

- As usual in campaigns we went in the evenings to catch in places of sins. A shocking catching was when we went to a hot neighborhood of Durban where most people were foreigners; the place was let down by authorities and seemed very dark and gloomy. The neighborhood is the center of various organizations of drugs, prostitution…

100 meters before the quarters we passed by a bridge where 2 to 300 people, all completely drugged, lived; the scene looked like a zombie film. They take drugs publicly, very hard drugs, without anyone reacting, and get drugged on the road with people passing by looking at them. Even the police fear to stop them because they know these people could do anything because they don’t know what life is.

You can imagine how happy were the djinns we caught before converting, so proud to have taken these people towards Hell!! May Allah preserve us from all evil.

- We went to catch for a responsible of a great Islamic project very beneficial for Muslims: The man was so tired, ill and worried. He explained that since 5 years the evolution of the project (larger premises, development…) was at point zero and they were 3 directors associated in this project. Within 6 months two of them got ill and died very quickly and his health was also deteriorating. He was more worried for the outcome of the project because he was the last director. After converting, the djinns told us that shayateen were doing all efforts to destroy their projects, because they awakened many Muslims and Iblis hired sorcerers on top of shayateen to do plenty of sacrifices to cause a sort of curse on the directors of the project so they die the ones after the others and also to discourage the replacers. Alhamdu lillah it is Allah that takes care of Islam and not His creatures and insha Allah the project will give its fruits for many generations.

- Alhamdu lillah, the evening after ruqya we had many invitations for dinner with catching as desert and we were invited by people from different fields so it allowed us to catch the djinns for all these fields, may Allah bring the change.

b) Many cases of healing

We treated some very difficult cases during this campaign and Alhamdu lillah some came the first day with deep sadness and worry on their faces and left the last day making plenty of du3as, may Allah accept them. Let’s mention some remarkable cases:

- One patient came the first day and got possessed as soon as she entered the waiting room and broke a window because she couldn’t control herself and the djinns dominated her and were very angry. Alhamdu lillah after many days of treatment, reading and daily catching, she got up in the middle of the ruqya and asked us permission to overcome the djinns and kill them by asking Allah, and masha Allah her arms moved right and left as if she was chopping something then she said she doesn’t feel any more presence of djinns and Alhamdu lillah after that moment she had no more reaction to Quran reading and was so happy to have overcome the djinns after all these years of possession and loss of control.

- A second patient came helped by two people to walk because she was too weak; djinns stopped her eating and blocked her mind most of the time. Alhamdu lillah, after the treatment, reading and daily catchings, after 2 or 3 days she had her appetite back and her strength and didn’t need any assistance to walk and had no more reaction to Quran recitation from the fifth day. And the same scene repeats itself: she thanks us and does plenty of du3a and what a pleasure to see her leaving with her mother both smiling whereas they came the first day desperate.

Praised be Allah for using us for the good of Muslims and for creating the situations to educate us and give us more strength to help our brothers and sisters.

c) Helping our brothers and sisters

The second part of this campaign took place in Durban, and unfortunately the situation of Muslims in this city is not like in Johannesburg or Pretoria. Many Muslims suffer from economic problems, divorces, drugs, fornication, children education… and also of sorcery that brings all the other problems.

So during all this week in Durban, we encountered plenty of various big and small problems of Muslims caused mostly by djinns and sorcery : heavy illnesses that doctors can’t explain nor treat like this patient who lost all the color of her skin, can’t stay outside under sunshine, can only eat soup, whose skin is peeling and burning and has to take cold showers ; doctors couldn’t ever explain her problem and only feed her morphine to calm her pains; and also all these divorced women bringing up their children alone, children who don’t sleep in night, constantly ill children, children having nightmares, skin problems like psoriasis, conceiving problems, disputes in couples, money vanishing, businesses suddenly going bankrupt, families who don’t speak to each other, scattered families, broken studies and careers… the list is long.

The accumulation of all these problems made me think continuously about this verse (Soorat 4 verse 75) all this week:

“Why should you not fight in the cause of GOD when weak men, women, and children are imploring: "Our Lord, deliver us from this community whose people are oppressive, and give us from Your behalf an ally and give us from Your behalf a helper."

Allah asks us: why don’t you? What’s holding you? What’s wrong with you?

Surely, how come we fear the sorcerers and their allies when it is Allah we should fear? What’s wrong with us? We have Quran, faith, prayer, tawheed, why don’t we fight with our piousness and our du3as and our efforts the sorcerers that ruin the life of our brothers and sisters and who think they hold people’s destiny in their hands? Why don’t we rush for our brothers and sisters that pray day and night Allah to send them a savior to help them out of all these sorcery problems by the Power of the Words of Allah? What’s wrong with us? What did we become?

O Allah make us live this verse, use us as rescuers for all our brothers and sisters that suffer from these sorcery and djinn problems and send your thunder and anger on all those who do sorcery to destroy the lives of your servants and those who use religion to become rich and hide their evilness by abusing of the weakness of the ill people.

We also lived directly some words of Prophet (sws):

The Prophet (sws) said: «Whoever works for the need of his brother Allah will take care of his need. Whoever removes a hardship from a Muslim Allah will remove him a hardship on the Day of Judgment. Whoever covers a Muslim’s defaults Allah will cover his defaults on the Day of Judgment» [Bukhari and Muslim].

In this campaign a brother helped us a lot taking us for catching many times in the week for hours down town and offered his help in the ruqya center, for food, etc. There also was this sister who offered us her house fi sabilillah during a week to treat people.

These sister and brother, both divorced, were trying to marry together since years but there always were complications and problems and they lost hope and stopped trying.

I remember that moment: just before our departure, the sister told us: «Might I get problems for lending you my house?» Abdel Aziz answered: «Don’t worry, the one who helps Muslims, Allah is the one who will solve his problems» and there we were two hours later celebrating their marriage that was blocked for all this time! Allahu Akbar, few marriages were so easy and simple!

They helped us during the whole campaign and in two hours time Allah solved their problem, praised be Allah for His countless gifts.

d) Think of those who suffer

Another shocking fact that shows the importance of rescuing our brothers and sisters is the testimony of this scholar from Malawi living in South Africa. He explained to us that within 15 years Muslim population went from 50% to 20% of total population. What is the reason? Poverty and Catholics’ preaching. Muslims live in poverty and Christians came to offer them free school, access to medical care, medication and 1€ corn boxes for leaving Islam and accepting Christianity. Unfortunately a large number of Muslims gave up and followed another religion for some material comfort, may Allah preserve us. I don’t condemn these people because they were in an extreme difficulty that we didn’t go through but we must be angry against ourselves who have the means to help our brothers and sisters and offer them what the Christians offer but we prefer to sleep in our warm beds and calm families and prosper jobs that we can’t afford to jeopardize.

I want to remind to you this hadeeths of Abu Hurayra : the Prophet (sws) said:

«Allah Great and Glorious will say on Day of Judgment:

- Son of Adam! I was ill and you didn’t visit Me.

- O Lord, how could I visit You, You are the Lord of all beings?

- Didn’t you know that my servant was ill and you didn’t visit him? Don’t you know that if you had visited him you would have found Me beside him?

- Son of Adam! I asked you for food and you didn’t feed Me.

- O Lord, how could I feed You, You are the Lord of all beings?

- Didn’t you know that my servant asked you for food and you didn’t feed him? Don’t you know that if you had fed him you would have found that before Me?

- Son of Adam! I asked you for a drink and you didn’t give Me.

- O Lord, how could I give You to drink, You are the Lord of all beings?

- Didn’t you know that my servant asked you for a drink and you didn’t give him? Don’t you know that if you had given him you would have found that before Me?

3) Continuing the media work

This campaign also allowed us to continue delivering our message: presenting the roqya, explaining our methods, giving people a method they can apply themselves, etc. We did many radio programs and one hour TV program.

Conclusion:

Despite a small campaign in the number of patients and students, alhamdu lillah we were the first to benefit spiritually and we managed to pass the message to a maximum of people through the medias.

May Allah accept us and use us for the good of Islam and His servants and make us understand this word of Prophet (sws): The best man is the most useful to men.
