BURKINA FASO (MARCH 2014)

Praises to Allah and peace and blessings on His Prophet.

This campaign in Burkina after a 6 years absence was of great intensity by Allah’s mercy and was under the new stage banner.

1 EFFICIENT CENTERS

Three centers in Ouagadougou the capital city, one in Bobo Dioulasso and roqya units in three other cities at least, all those students who managed to maintain themselves over the years, that is a fact that proves the efficiency of the caring and a good level of managing the environment and the relations with the public. But the best news I heard with my own ears is many different religious authorities expressing how much they admire these centers, and their satisfaction with the results because they have sent their relatives and high relations, and their gratitude like this imam and madrassa director who said: there is no one I sent there and was not cured! O Allah, I have not enough words to thank You because You have guided us to this and You have protected us by Your mercy and by Your kindness You have not shamed us when we deserve it by our sins and negligence.

I keep thinking about what the mufti of Saudi Arabia, Abdul-Aziz Aal Sheikh, told me: in Saudi they are deceived of roqya centers because of the behavior with money, women and treatment methods, to a point they want to close the centers and want each person to treat himself. What do you think of that, patients, if ulama tell you you should just treat yourselves? Praised be Allah that raised his slave: Saudi Arabia ulama are deceived of their ruqya centers and fight them and our centers receive satisfaction and encouragements, confidence and consideration! That is why you see sunnees or salafees everywhere criticizing the professionalization of roqya: they blindly copy preaches and positions of Saudi ulama; but that doesn’t stop sunnees everywhere to have their own ruqya centers.

This reputation and respect is the key of success and must be worked on daily over the years doing our best for the cure and satisfaction of each patient, fighting the attacks of «human and jinn devils inspiring in each other fancy words, in order to deceive» (6/112) like these amils (marabout) who incited the responsibles of town hall and police to come close the ruqya center, that was the occasion for us to reach and official status. Another amil gathered a group of amils in his courtyard for « prayers » to close down the center; he passed away after one month from a two day illness and his second man was hit by a bad illness and spent two weeks in hospital; may Allah be our referee between us and those who fight us.

As a result new paths open in front of us by the mercy of Allah: the chief of the Muslim community, highest Islamic authority in the country, asked us to train his imams on ruqya in the central mosque by treating people in the mosque; we recorded three programs in the health program in the Islamic channel: symptoms and treatment; protection and shirk; and psychotherapy : for this last program wa managed to have a volunteer to whom I did live psychotherapy in front of the camera and it was a brilliant success: the mechanic of human mind unveiled in front of all and the solution put in the hands of all watchers. May Allah bless this Islamic radio director and Quran madrassa responsible and great fan of my tafseers and defender of the roqya! But the greatest support was from the Cerfi : Islamic Studies and Thought Circle that gathers the ancient members of the Muslim Schoolboys and Students Association of Burkina (all the neighboring African countries have similar structures); This association of active intellectuals covers the whole territory of the country and they understood the benefits of the ruqya for the population in terms of healing, substitute to the shirk and shield against Christian groups as an imam told me: people come to complain about djinns and sorceries, we tell them wa can’t do anything about it and they go to the church next door so they pray for them. So the Cerfi organized for us beautiful campaigns in Bobo and another city whose name I can’t remember where we had 150 patients in 30 hours.

2 OFFICIAL RECOGNITION

Declaring oneself as a traditional healer is a simple procedure at the Health National Ministry. Then the raqis must gather in specific healer groups because there is the group of traditional African healers and another group for Chinese medicine, it is also formality. Then they must ask for a protocol of cooperation with the Ministry of Health, and that’s when we must prove our efficiency. This protocol can be asked by a roqya center alone without waiting for the others, but I don’t prefer that the centers come is separate ranks. Yes, I repeat again and again that we should keep record of medical files and video testimonies of our patients, but the most important is to have the help of Allah because it is His religion and His slaves and not our own business. And now a phenomenon in Burkina is on everyone’s lips: an epidemic of collective crisis of girls in schools. Medicine has recognized its incapacity to face this situation: it is not a medical matter but a mystic one. Christian prayers are not sufficient to calm these wild and blood thirsty djinns. Animists and idol worshippers have the understanding of the situation: let’s sacrifice for the djinns the blood they demand and they will spare the girls; they want the country to come back to idol worshipping and sacrifices must be renewed every year. Alhamdu lillah thumma alhamdu lillah, the authorities did not follow this path. Subhan Allah it’s like I am seeing Egypt in time of Yusuf alayhi salam crossing years of dryness to put Yusuf in the front of the scene for the conversion of the whole country: after acceptance Allah uses the person. The catching uncovers the whole mystic side of the scene: who are these djinns attacking the students, what do they want, how do they choose their targets? And most of all the solution: a few verses – but sometimes a fight with the catcher when the djinn is strong and furious – then comes the shahada and the happy and blessed end of this crisis so hard or the girls, the families, the school and the authorities, in total transparence and faith in Allah and His words. We have treated the Islamic schools that asked our help and the way is open, may Allah make it easy.

3 ALLAH OR THE DEVIL

Two situations shocked me. We have treated a medicine student. When catching, a djinn came and I asked him what he was doing. He said he was in charge to establish the list of those who didn’t do pacts with the djinns. From 600 students in medicine, they were about 10%, around 60 students; all the others worship Satan, would it be non Muslims through their various worships or beliefs or the Muslims with taweez’s or rings or duaa or aamal that are shirk, and about 60 remain that do not associate anything with Allah. Then he gives the list to Iblis who orders to all the present djinns that are under his authority whatever the reason of their presence to break the 60 sincere believers. In the same way in all fields of society non Muslim djinns unite to stop Muslims advance and of curse one of the ways they use is to influence their human partners to do that. And how can we Muslims escape this? It needs a great amount of spirituality to neutralize the effect of devils on your projects and you must avoid mistakes, sins, and sudden decisions because it is a gap bad djinns use to make you drop into problems that will make your projects fail, and in any difficulty you must calm down, think again the whole situation and ask Allah for a long moment. As far as we are concerned, we also have the catching because we know that whatever we start like programming a campaign in a country or speaking in Medias or an important visit a whole organization to resist and counter-attack takes place, so as soon as we take a decision we must catch regularly until the action is finished.

The other situation that shook me is a primary elite school. May Allah bless our Turkish brothers for implementing these Islamic elite schools in various countries in Africa! If you read my article «African mentalities» one of the best solutions to these awes is the elite schools. And I appreciate much the efficiency and discipline of Turkish beyond their attachment to religion, and these qualities are excellent for a school. Furthermore, these schools are free - students don’t pay – but another Turkish association does paying schools. The Turks train the executives of these schools by taking them for a few years in Turkey. It is one of the best Islamic development projects I know. So this Islamic primary school in addition to the normal courses teaches hifz to the boys that are all boarding. But now the children have many difficulties to learn and the results of the school are decreasing. So we came and all the classrooms were gathered in the prayer room. There was a first group of djinns related to the boys for family or personal reasons, then the djinns that were here for the school. I asked: “It’s you that attacked the school?” They replied: “No, it’s the school that attacked us!” Reciting Quran disturbs non Muslim djinns in the neighborhood and they all united: sorcerer djinns, Christian and Animist to attack the school, and they said they were going to forward a request to the authorities to chase away the school from the area. But there was a group of Muslim djinns that joined prayers in the school and they refused to fight the school with the others and tried to stop them but were outnumbered by the kafirs. Alhamdu lillah, with the catching the situation is quickly solved by the grace of Allah but otherwise, as I told you, it would have needed a strong level of spirituality, but there is a simple thing you can do: before reading Quran ask Allah to guide any djinns listening as He has guided the djinns that listened to the recitation of Rasool Allah (s) and converted spontaneously; in sha Allah with this intention, the reading will be a mercy for them.

The result of these experiences is that if you choose to be with Allah and not with devil, all satanic djinns will fight you even if they have nothing to do with you, and they will do all they can to influence the satanic humans that Allah mentions : « His power is limited to those who choose him as their master, those who choose him as their god» (Bee 100) to harm you; so there is no way to be neutral and stay still in the middle without taking part in any conflict. So each Muslim must absolutely struggle to reinforce his relation with Allah by repentance, respect of obligations, maximize the use of his time and capacities to worship Allah and do good deeds, and also to fight sins and all satanic effects in society. Of course, if you do that, you will be even more attacked by devils and Allah will help you more and your reward will be greater. But if you fear these tests and prefer to minimize losses and leave the satanic side alone, they will not leave but Allah will leave because he says: «If you support Allah [‘s religion], He will support you» (Muhammad 7).

4 STANDARD TREATMENT

Now the negative part. I was deceived and worried by changes to the ruqya method and lacks. One center was giving patients 1.5 liter bottles of water coranized by the recitation on patients and asking them to add to a 20 liter jerry can of normal water. Some raqis use this method and even ask the patients to fill the jerry can every time it’s nearly empty and continue endlessly the treatment with the first coranized bottle. From my experience and knowledge I don’t think it’s possible; I think coranized water dilutes like milk or salt, the jerry can water coranized with one bottle is 13 times less efficient than a coranized jerry can.

The reason they claimed is that they did a free ruqya campaign in Ramadan and because of the big number of people they found this solution to easy the work. I guess it was so simple they definitely kept this method.

Besides, they completely left the symbolic verses, so how to remove sorceries in cemeteries, tress, etc? Subhan Allah, all these courses, all these years of research, put aside just to make things easier! Symbolic verses are also an important means for hard or resistant sorceries: if we see that a patient is very affected by one type of sihr and we think by experience that the usual treatment will not be enough to remove it in one go, we will give him the specific verse and ask him to read it on the water 30 to 100 times or more to be sure this sihr will completely disappear from the first treatment; it is more demanded if the patient returns and the effect is still here, we must give him more than the first treatment. Removing the symbolic verses removes this possibility of increasing the treatment.

Then the brothers replaced the hijama (cupping) by dry cupping: without cutting and bleeding. That’s so much simpler: no need for blades, cotton, alcohol, less risk of missed cupping and much easier to wash. The reason they said that they felt responsible to make the method evaluate and not stay stuck on what they learnt, so they did an experiment they verified with the catching: the cupping with blood removes sihr in 5 minutes, and by dry cupping it goes in 20 minutes. And this is how a 5 minute experience won my 17 years experience with tens of thousands of patients in 32 countries over the five continents. And how shall we do with the patients who need many sessions of cupping to remove their sorceries and djinns, how many will they need with dry cupping? To tell you what I think of dry cupping, I never heard of that in Sunna, so all hadeeths mentioning hijama don’t concern the dry cupping; for me it is something that doesn’t exist.

Other news: the brothers were doing cupping on women. I believe ruqya is a medical practice and like in medicine necessary contact between doctor and patient is permissible. But that cannot become a habit or a rule, and each center must organize itself to have women to do cupping on women even if they have to pay a woman especially for that, and I can’t have anyone on my website that does not have a woman to do cupping on women.

That’s not all: catching was used to know who did sihr and sent the djinns on the center. For instance an amil and a raqi Were named. The amil came to see me to get treated and the brothers were all excited and told me: « It’s the guy who did sihr on us and sent djinns to destroy the center ». I said: «How do you know that?» They said: «By catching, many times confirmed». We treated him and he brought many family members for treatment and I didn’t see anything that showed that this person did sorcery; at most the djinns who possessed him didn’t like the center and attacked it, that is very normal. I can’t either say he didn’t do sorcery, but everyone must know such an information by catching is not reliable and I don’t approve at all that raqis build certitudes based on catching; only the reality can confirmer the catching information and as long as confirmation has not come it remains: «information to be checked».

Then nowhere is the catching understood and used as it should. In a center, a list of the patients was done then the catching was done on the list. That is so much less efficient than doing it in front of the patient, and for cases of djinns attached to the person and resistant it will not be enough, plus we want with the catching to clean out houses and families of patients in addition to their professional environment and the sorcerers who worked on them in our global strategy of fighting shirk and reinforcing good in the society. When a person does sorcery to progress professionally and a patient comes and he has been pushed aside by the sihr of his colleague, his problem will not be solved until the whole professional environment will be cleaned; so each patient is an occasion to clean a professional environment and those who have strategic jobs or responsibilities are even more important. This cleaning will allow competent people to advance and will make corrupted, incompetent and satanic people fall. I don’t need to explain the consequences that will have on society and on Islam because the honest Muslims are the first to be excluded from the corrupted system. One can answer me: but who will pay us for this? This is why ruqya is incompatible with the seek of profit: you will only see the money and not do the work until everything collapses then you complain and ask the sheikh to come to promote ruqya again. It is Allah who will pay us, and the more we do good the more Allah will bless our lives and you can be sure that all these converted djinns will fight for the sake of Allah and tell people to treat themselves with Quran; but what is more important than knowing what will be your profit is to work for the satisfaction of Allah which is our highest desire in this world and our best profit.

Another center did not have a catcher. But ma sha Allah they had about 20 boarding patients, and that is an important progress; they are mostly cases of madness or very frequent crisis, and some patients coming from far away staying for their treatment. Patients having madness or very frequent crisis need catching as much as possible, cupping daily, morning and evening bath, oil and incense treatment and listening to ruqya at each occasion to end their problem as fast as possible: it is as much our interest and the interest of patients to do all possible means to achieve total cure as soon as possible and not let the cases last. The same patients who do a lot of crisis are the candidates to become catchers: when we fight their djinns, as soon as the person is a bit conscious, we ask him to say shahada, and that will help the djinn convert, and once a djinn is converted we start bringing all the others to convert them then we try turning the person into catcher. When I asked one of the responsibles why they didn’t have a catcher he explained to me that they tried to make a patient catch for others and that worsened her case so they left it. Subhan Allah ! Another experience that throws away all my teachings! But it is written in the method to obtain a catcher that some people don’t bare it and we should just treat them and let them go. I concluded that the centers who don’t have catchers it is because they don’t try; and they don’t try because they didn’t understand the functioning and importance of the catching.

A last point: I got to see some patients that returned many times and I noticed on their forms that the more the patient comes the less he gets treated: less cupping is done and nothing new is done to help him. It should be the opposite: each time we see that the problem is not solved we must do more effort and seek more solutions for the person. Some reduce the reading because the patient returns or they are tired or they think their reading is powerful: I don’t want them in my group.

The positive point is that all the brothers submitted to my requests and apologized for having changed the method without consulting me and insured me it came from a good intention; however I understood that we can’t rely on confidence and a supervision of all centers is necessary. May Allah help us to oganize that. Supervision needs establishing a standard, a functional requirements specification that each center or raqi must follow to be my student and to be listed on my website. Of course those who want to work their way are free and I am not responsible of what they do.

5 NEW ELEMENTS

One new program started in Burkina is that many raqis had a non Islamic competitive behavior and one of my students decided to meet the leader scholar of Sunnis to suggest to him to gather the raqis – nearly all Sunnis – to remind them about Islamic behavior and teach them Islamic principles of ruqya. The meeting took place in his center and was a good progress. I only regret that my students were not united to organize this operation, as I already demanded that after uniting my students a structure must be made to unite all raqis and obtain an acknowledgement from Islamic authorities and submit to their control.

Another initiative is « the raqi’s week» where a center trained 60 people, majority of which are students and gave conferences on ruqya. These same trainees come to do the practical training during the campaign.

An initiative we are doing in Tunisia is road signs. We did a first experience last year with small road signs that were quickly removed. But now we have done a big 1m on 70 cm in a big crossroad and the agents of town hall asked us to come for regulation. After 3 months of procedures we were asked to pay 20 Dinars a year, that is 10 €. I said: «So I will put others». He said: «The city is yours!» So now we have put 5 more in major crossroads and by the Mercy of Allah that brings people. So I advise you everywhere to put these road signs. Some time ago we wanted to advertise through the panels in the city but it was costing and complicated; having your own road sign is much more appropriate. I then realized how much in Ouagadougou there are panels for Christian relief and prayer centers but not a single mosque has a panel or offer relief prayers.

Last initiative: we made a poster on djinn catching. One brother who brought many patients told me that the djinn catching was blocking many patients because they didn’t know if it is Islamic. I then wrote a paper to explain it and the brothers turned it into a plastic poster we hung in the center, it is attached.
